Abstract
•Image of wood internal defects including size, shape and degree of decay is detected.•TKriging is proposed for three-dimensional stress wave imaging.•The average relative error of TKriging is lower than that of basic Kriging.•We examine the effect of the number of sensors on the 3D imaging results.
