In our previous work, we evaluated the performance of our proposed method for message suppression considering Epidemic and Spray-and-Wait protocols in Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks (VANETs). In this paper, we evaluate the performance of our proposed message suppression controller considering priority for inter-vehicle communications. The simulations are conducted using Scenargie simulator considering 802.11p standard and obstacles. From the simulation results, our proposed EMSC with MaxProp has proved to be effective for small scale inter-vehicle communication. |
