Title
Quantitative analysis on the main elements in glass with laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy
Abstract
In this paper, the major elements Si and Ba in glass are measured by a method of laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy. Q using pulsed Nd:YAG laser, the sample stage, digital delay controller, echelle spectrometer, ICCD detector and computer components consist the LIBS system. Choosing four glass samples made by manufacturing enterprises as the standard to obtain LIBS spectra. Combining with the free calibration analysis method, the Boltzmann curves of the main elements Si and Ba were established, which can calculate the elements Si and Ba of the sample accurately. The relative error of the contents of Si and Ba ranged from 4.96% to 10.12% and from 4.07% to 9.62%, respectively. The standard deviation of the contents of Si and Ba ranged from 0.38% to 1.29% and from 0.54% to 1.70%, respectively. T test results showed that there was no significant difference between the measured values and the actual values.
