Title
Adaptive Oberver Design For Linear Descriptor Systems
Abstract
This paper is devoted to the design of an adaptive observer for descriptor systems in order to estimate simultaneously the system states and its parameters. A new method is presented, it is based on a mathematical transformation of the system in order to get an augmented measure matrix from which the observer is built. Existence conditions of this observer are given through matrices equations and are so easily verified via rank conditions. The observer is then designed in order to ensure the stability of the observation error. The method is finally extended to the observer design for descriptor systems subjected to unknown inputs, it permits the simultaneously estimation of the state, the unknown inputs and the parameters.
