•Multi-sensor systems with prediction compensation of packet losses are studied.•Centralized fusion estimators are presented in LUMV sense.•Local optimal estimators are designed for each sensor subsystem.•Estimation error cross-covariance matrices between local estimators are derived.•Distributed fusion estimators weighted by matrices are presented in LUMV sense.
