Title
Time and magnitude monitoring based on the renewal reward process.
Abstract
•A new control chart for time and magnitude monitoring is introduced.•Renewal reward process is assumed to study the damage caused by shocks.•For magnitude, we consider cumulative and non-cumulative cases over time.•The proposed charts are also compared to the existing so-called rate charts.•Our proposal is a generalization of the existing time and magnitude charts.
