Title
Monitoring mangrove forest change in China from 1990 to 2015 using Landsat-derived spectral-temporal variability metrics.
Abstract
•We used all available Landsat imagery to monitor mangrove forest change in China.•We classified mangrove forest by employing Landsat-derived spectral-temporal variability metrics.•The accuracy of classification is high (>90%).•We finished mangrove forest maps of China for six epochs.•We found that the total area of mangrove forest in China has increased by a factor of 2 from 1990 to 2015.
