Title
Downscaling of surface air temperature over the Tibetan Plateau based on DEM.
Abstract
•Ta with a medium spatial resolution is in urgent demand for associated studies.•A method was developed to downscale Ta based on correlations between Ta and terrain.•The downscaled Ta is closer to ground measurements and has better image quality.•A 0.01° Ta dataset from 2000 to 2015 over the Tibetan Plateau was generated.
