This paper presents a fast and low complexity timing synchronization method for MIMO-OFDM system. The proposed method uses simple CAZAC sequence as synchronization preamble and the combination of a set of correlators at the receiver side in order to increase the probability of correct timing acquisition. Simulation results in AWGN-Rayleigh fading channel show that an acquisition probability of 1 could be achieved for a Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) higher than -20dB with a preamble length of 1024. |
