Title
Resource Allocation in PDMA with Wireless Information and Power Transmission
Abstract
With the development of the fifth generation (5G) wireless systems, the mobile medical will face a profound change. Pattern division multiple access (PDMA) is a novel non-orthogonal multiple access scheme proposed to increase throughput and the number of connections by combining the design of transmitters and receivers. In this paper, we propose a resource allocation scheme to achieve the trade-off between rate and energy. In our system model, we also exploited energy harvesting to optimize the efficiency of the entire system, although this make it harder to solve the problem. To figure out the problem, an iterative algorithm based on optimized power allocation and the pattern matrix is proposed to improve the performance of downlink PDMA networks. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm needs less total transmitting power when reaching the same rate and energy value.
