A cognitive map is a graphical semantic model that represents influences between concepts. A taxonomic cognitive map is a cognitive map associated with a taxonomy which gives more information about the concepts. The propagated influence value and the taxonomic influence value are the only queries that a user can make to analyse a map. This paperl presents TCMQL, a general query language for taxonomic cognitive map. It provides many kinds of queries to analyse a map. TCMQL takes into account all the features of the cognitive map model. TCMQL is declarative and its syntax is close to SQL. |
