The IEEE 802.15.4 standard, used for the Internet of Things (IoT), contains several physical layers, which also employ nonorthogonal frequency-shift keying (FSK) modulation. Herein we propose new and simple closed-form expressions for the bit-error rate (BER) of nonorthogonal FSK for the IoT. Simulation results confirm the good accuracy of the proposed expressions. |
