Cooperation has been imposed recently in various research fields. In particular, it is needed in distributed systems to better respond to the users requirements (e.g. performance, availability, security, etc.), especially with the advent of the Internet and the introduction of new technologies such as wireless networks, grid computing, cloud computing, etc. In fact, several models of cooperation have been proposed in the literature. In this paper, we are interested in coalition formation that allows individuals to temporarily group together to achieve common objectives. In this framework, we survey different works of coalition formation in distributed systems by classifying them according to various and sianificant criteria. |
