Title
Wind Turbine Doubly-Fed Asynchronous Machine Diagnosis Defects -Part two
Abstract
In the current paper we present the second part of works related to the diagnostic of the defects of DFIG in two Moroccan wind turbine parks. Initially, we focus on modeling of a non-defected wind conversion systems (a free of defects wind turbine) based on mathematic model created in Matlab Simulink which is able to present the behavior of the wind turbine. Afterwards, to increase the performance of wind conversion systems we suggest the use of an indirect vector control stator field orientation. This method allows us to control separately the active and reactive power generated by DFIG. We also propose a method to diagnose the potential defects attacking DFIG in Moroccan wind turbines. The simulations had been realized by Matlab Simulink. These results showed the efficiency of the proposed method that makes up an important research part of the Horizontal Axe Wind Turbine HAWT.
