Abstract | ||

Delayed bit interleaved coded modulation (DBICM) generalizes BICM by mapping different delayed codewords onto the same signal point. It has been shown previously that DBICM can outperform BICM for certain constellations. In this paper, the capacity of DBICM is derived and analyzed in order to identify instances for which DBICM can improve over BICM. |
