Title
An iterative approach for achieving consensus when ranking a finite set of alternatives by a group of experts.
Abstract
•Various indicators for evaluating consensus in group decision making are proposed.•Indicators point to pairs of experts or of alternatives of special interest.•The new approach is based on a premetric measure expressing rankings of alternatives.•A versatile iterative GDM process is presented to assist experts reach consensus.•A comparison between the proposed approach and the traditional one is made.
