Abstract | ||

Image registration is a basic problem in many processing tasks. The estimation of parameters for affine deformations plays a significant role in many applications. But the existing methods are either of high computational complexity, or not available for binary images. In this paper, the concept of generic weighted centroid is proposed. An algorithm is developed for the estimation of affine transform's parameters by generic weighted centroid. The proposed method not only can be used for binary images, but also is of low computational complexity. Experimental results show the efficient of the proposed method. |
