Multi-channel Signal Acquisition Algorithm for Multi-beam Satellite Systems in High Dynamic Environment
Abstract
Traditional acquisition algorithm could not be applied in multi-beam satellite systems with high dynamic, since it will lead to channel disconnection and signal recaptured during handover. To address this problem, we propose a parallel multiplexing acquisition algorithm (PMA) based on partial matched filtering-fast Fourier transform (PMF-FFT) algorithm. Firstly, we review PMF-FFT algorithm and analyze the factors affecting performance. Secondly, partial matched filter optimizing method and FFT model optimizing technique are presented to realize multi-beam acquisition. In addition, the design of FPGA platform for PMA is given. Finally, the results of Matlab simulation and hardware verification show that the proposed PMA algorithm can effectively improve the FPGA resource utilization and realize the signal adaptive acquisition and synchronization in high-dynamic scenario of multi-beam satellite.
