Title
Power efficient optimal Operational Transconductance Amplifier Using Source Degeneration Technique.
Abstract
This paper deals in designing a novel and simple operational transconductance amplifier which yields various enhanced analog parameters like phase margin, gain margin, slew rate etc. The resolution and noise ratio of analog to digital and digital to analog converter is governed by basic building block of OTA. 2 stages OTA can be designed using both current division technique u0026 source degeneration technique. This proposed design of CMOS OTA using source degeneration technique flawlessly leads to performance enhancement as compared to the counterpart. This source degeneration two stage OTA (SDOTA) achieves a comparatively good quality gain marginu0026 phase margin. This design uses source degeneration technique to enhance the gain margin, power consumption at a low power supply of 0.7V. Simulationis done by using cadence virtuoso version 6.1 platforms on 45nm technology.
