Title
A Packet Scheduling Scheme For Seamless Transmission Of Life Media Contents
Abstract
Users can access multiple wireless networks simultaneously because of the explosive development of wireless technologies and a mobile device. This paper proposes a packet scheduling scheme to efficiently exploit multiple wireless networks simultaneously. The proposed scheme estimates the available bandwidth in multiple wireless networks by modifying TCP-friendly Rate Control (TFRC) algorithm. It also distributes video packets over multiple wireless networks simultaneously on basis of the estimated available bandwidth. Through the simulation results, we prove that the proposed scheme improves the performance of throughput and reduces the packet loss ratio. Our scheme can provide seamless transmission of life media contents which are a user created contents on the basis of the user daily life.
