Title
Redundancy allocation in series-parallel systems under warm standby and active components in repairable subsystems
Abstract
•A bi-objective mathematical model is developed to optimize the reliability of a complicated system.•Different redundancy strategies with component mixing can be used in each subsystem.•An efficient simulation procedure is developed to estimate MTTF.•Multi Objective Water Flow algorithm (MOWFA) is proposed and compared to NSGA-II and NRGA.•Several multi-objective metrics are calculated to compare the performance of methods.
