In this paper, a 5G resource allocation model is firstly proposed for downlink in RoF-WDM-PON (radio over fiber wavelength division multiplexing passive optical networks) employing multiple user multiple-input multiple-output (MU MIMO) links. A possible way to release optical wavelength based on our model is given by re-allocating wireless resource block(RB) of component carrier(CC) for future 5G. Moreover, a heuristic algorithm for dynamic RB reallocation is designed for achieving a cost-effective way in the scheduling of system. Adopting different allocation algorithms, simulations are executed to evaluate our proposal. The analytic results about wavelength consumption under different UE number and block error rate confirm that our proposal benefits for system cost reduction and throughput optimization. The results also give a reference on engineering. |
