A joint text mining-rank size investigation of the rhetoric structures of the US Presidents' speeches.
Abstract
•We use a text mining procedure for the analysis of political speeches.•We employ a rank-size analysis to explore the rethoric structure of the speeches.•We investigate a large set of US Presidents talks, from Washington to Trump.•We rank the tokens on the basis of relative and absolute words frequencies.•Talks regularities are found and discussed under a political-linguistic viewpoint.
