Abstract | ||

In this paper, we propose a cluster management method to shorten the data latency for heterogeneous vehicular networks. The proposed method introduces a secondary cluster head (CH) in addition to the primary CH to shorten the handover time of CHs. When a primary CH moves out of a cluster, the secondary CH seamlessly takes over. Via computer simulations, we confirm that the proposed method effectively shortens the data latency in cluster-based heterogeneous vehicular networks. |
