Title
Low-Complexity Channel Estimator Based On The Complex Exponential Bem For A Vector Ofdm System
Abstract
In high mobility wireless communications, the wireless propagation channel usually exhibits selectivity in both time and frequency domain, thus being referred to as doubly selective channel. How to efficiently estimate the channel state information and provide reliable wireless services in such channels are becoming increasingly critical issues to be coped with. In this paper, we focus on vector orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (Vector OFDM) system in doubly selective channel modeled by complex exponential basis expansion model (CE-BEM). By carefully studying the symbol spreading structure, a low-complexity channel estimation algorithm is designed and a modified CE-BEM channel model, which adapts to high mobility conditions, is proposed. Numerical results verify the good performance of the proposed channel estimation scheme as well as the modified CE-BEM method.
