Phasor measurement units (PMUs) are expected to be the basis of modern power networks monitoring systems. They are conceived to allow measuring the phasor, frequency, and rate of change of frequency (ROCOF) of electrical signals in a synchronized way and with unprecedented accuracy. PMUs are intended to apply to three-phase systems and to track signal parameters evolution during network dynamics. ... |
