Title
Execution-time integration of clinical practice guidelines to provide decision support for comorbid conditions.
Abstract
•Comorbid conditions are, despite their prevalence, insufficiently supported by CDSS.•We present an approach to dynamically coordinate comorbidity management in CDSS at execution-time.•Both clinical safety and optimization of resource usage is targeted.•CIG integration is made conditional on (a) dynamic health profiles, (b) runtime delays, and (c) acute comorbid conditions.•Execution-time integration decisions are refined as comorbid CIG execution progresses.
