Title
Distributed graph database as base of smart world things
Abstract
A wide variety of data appears in the smart world. To manage such data efficiently, in addition to traditional data management systems, we believe that a graph database is promising because the graph database model can represent relationships among the data in a straightforward manner. We previously developed an early version of a distributed graph database and applied it to the data management of an Internet of Things (IoT) system. In addition to the data relationships in the management of the IoT, more ad hoc and more dynamic relationships are emerging in the smart world. In this paper, we present a prototype implementation of a brainstorming support system using our distributed graph database as an application of the smart world because the activities of data gathering and grouping in brainstorming are fundamental for managing the large amount of data.
