Abstract | ||

The optimum level of soil moisture is important both for the plant's production activities and irrigation. The measurement of soil moisture is done by various methods. Automatic irrigation systems are designed according to the results of the measurements. Our goal in this study is to estimate soil moisture with simple and inexpensive methods. Especially in household agriculture applications, we are receiving data from sensors that we have connected to Arduino. Intermediate value is estimated using inverse-distance weighting (IDW). The performance of the method is examined. |
