The German initiative "Industrie 4.0" has been the focal point of industrial research in Germany in the last decade. The initiative main objectives are to establish a production with a higher degree of flexibility and cooperation that has not been reached so far. Resource sharing and load reallocation play a crucial role in reinforcing the aforementioned objectives. Previously, we introduced a list of KPIs, a benchmark that can simulate the different load algorithms, and a stability analysis that listed all the boundary conditions needed in the automation domain. In this paper, we present a multi-dimensional mathematical model that describes the trade-off between balancing interdependent loads simultaneously reducing the reality gap between the introduced models and realistic situations. |
