Title
Modeling Of Multi-Dimension Load Balancing Problem
Abstract
The German initiative "Industrie 4.0" has been the focal point of industrial research in Germany in the last decade. The initiative main objectives are to establish a production with a higher degree of flexibility and cooperation that has not been reached so far. Resource sharing and load reallocation play a crucial role in reinforcing the aforementioned objectives. Previously, we introduced a list of KPIs, a benchmark that can simulate the different load algorithms, and a stability analysis that listed all the boundary conditions needed in the automation domain. In this paper, we present a multi-dimensional mathematical model that describes the trade-off between balancing interdependent loads simultaneously reducing the reality gap between the introduced models and realistic situations.
