Title
Integrated scheduling for a distributed manufacturing system: a stochastic multi-objective model.
Abstract
This study investigates and studies an integrated scheduling problem in a distributed manufacturing system that comprises multiple distributed factories, each of which has one independent flow shop with different numbers of serial machines. A stochastic multi-objective model is built with consideration of two criteria of scheduling and uncertainties of the operation process. A multi-objective brain storm optimization algorithm is designed to solve the model. Through a comparison with two state-of-the-art multi-objective algorithms, the experimental results indicate that the proposed model is effective, and the proposed algorithm can achieve satisfactory performance.
