Title
Personas And Scenarios To Improve The Development Of An Electronic Social Record Platform
Abstract
The aging of the population is a big challenge that is imposing the Social Care to evolve towards an integrated and continued care chain, based on services of close proximity to citizens, delivered by society-centered care networks.Considering the need for articulation of the care networks based on the community, the domain knowledge of professionals that work directly with the population should be considered in the development of information services that support the implementation of electronic social records. This paper presents the development of personas and scenarios used to support the technological development process and for the technical specification of the information services of an electronic social record platform called the Social Cooperation for Integrated Assisted Living (SOCIAL) platform. The personas and scenarios were defined based on 15 face-to-face interviews with relevant stakeholders and validated in a focus group with other nine stakeholders.Five personas and three scenarios were defined and are currently being used to guide the development process of the SOCIAL platform.Because of the great conceptual variability found during the interviews, the relevant concepts were normalized and mapped to the personas and scenarios previously defined and a glossary was created to facilitate communication within stakeholders and development team.
