Abstract | ||

Dongba hieroglyph is a kind of very primitive picture hieroglyphs; it has a characteristic of pictograph to express meaning by using pictures, but also has a feature of modern word to express the meaning with simple strokes. Therefore, starting from the structure of glyphic, we analyzed the feature of Dongba hieroglyphs and combined with the research results of shape simplification in computer vision, and give a simplification algorithm for Dongba hieroglyphic feature curve. Through a large number of experiments, the algorithm can effectively remove the redundant and noise, reduce the calculation of the similarity measure, and finally lay a solid foundation for the detection and recognition of Dongba hieroglyphics. |
