Title
Effect Of Isoflurane At Different Anesthesia Depth On Striatum Of Rat Based On Simultaneous Detection Of Spikes And Dopamine
Abstract
Understanding the neurological mechanism of general anesthesia is of great significance. With the advantages of synchronous analysis the relationship between neuroelectrical and neurochemical activity, neural dual-mode recording methods based on Micro-Electro-Mechanical System (MEMS) technique are widely used in neuroscience research. Here we present a dual-mode signal test platform in anesthetized rat for researching the effect of isoflurane at different anesthesia depth on striatum of rat. Using this platform, we synchronously recorded the neuron spikes and dopamine (DA) of striatum during the flow rate of isoflurane changed. Then, the effect of different anesthesia depth on the dual-mode signal was analyzed. Results showed that different anesthesia depth had no significant effect on DA, but obviously regulated the spike firings of some neurons.
