In this letter, an ultra-wideband (UWB) non-coherent receiver design is proposed using a monobit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) in an impulsive noise (IN) environment. Sparsity of both the UWB signal and IN are exploited to design a robust digital receiver. A sub-optimal threshold selection of ADC is suggested to enhance system performance in an IN environment. Quasi-static characteristics of t... |
