Dissipativity-Based Fault Detection for Uncertain Switched Fuzzy Systems with Unmeasurable Premise Variables
Abstract
This paper investigates the problem of fault detection for uncertain switched fuzzy systems with unmeasurable premise variables. A dissipativity-based fault detection observer is designed. The observer order can be adjusted within a certain range. By solving a set of linear matrix inequalities, the sufficient condition can be obtained to ensure that under arbitrary switching signal, the residual dynamic is strictly <inline-formula xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"><tex-math notation="LaTeX">$(Q,S,R)$</tex-math></inline-formula> - <inline-formula xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"><tex-math notation="LaTeX">$\kappa$</tex-math></inline-formula> -dissipative. Furthermore, the elaborate <inline-formula xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"><tex-math notation="LaTeX">$H_\infty$</tex-math></inline-formula> performance and the elaborate <inline-formula xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"><tex-math notation="LaTeX">$H_-$</tex-math></inline-formula> performance are obtained, which can be treated as expansions of the traditional <inline-formula xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"><tex-math notation="LaTeX">$H_\infty$</tex-math></inline-formula> performance and <inline-formula xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"><tex-math notation="LaTeX">$H_-$</tex-math></inline-formula> performance. The parameter uncertainties are decoupled from the residual. Simulation results are presented to verify the proposed techniques.
