Title
A Transmit Antenna Selection Technique in Random Cognitive Radio Network
Abstract
The most promoting cognitive radio network is a bright prospect to accommodate the growing demand of spectrum scarcity and energy reduction. From this point of view, we investigate the outage probability and energy efficiency consideration of signal to interference plus noise ratio for downlink scenario of random cognitive radio network. Considering the transmit antenna selection technique at secondary transmitter, we derive new analytical expression of outage probability. Numerical results show that outage probability performance improves with increasing number of antennas at secondary transmitter. Moreover, energy efficiency decreases with large number of antennas at secondary transmitter.
