•ICG with the aid of ANN, is used for the estimation of echocardiogram parameters.•The methodology determine SV, LVESV, LVEDV, LVEF, IVCT, IVRT, LVET, TST, TDT, & MPI.•The error margins are ±8.9%, ±3.8%, ±1.4%, ±7.8%, ±16.0%, ±9.0%, ±9.7%, ±6.9%, ±6.2%, & ±0.9%.•The results predicted are compared with doppler based echocardiogram.•The methodology could be used by any individual to monitor one’s cardiac health. |
