•A tensor product rational surface of bidegree (m,n) without base points can always be implicitized by moving quadrics together with moving planes.•The set of moving planes whose degree is at most n−1 in t is a syzygy module of dimensional 2n.•This paper provides a method to construct moving planes and moving quadrics. |
