Title
Hybrid metaheuristics: An automated approach
Abstract
•Single-point and multi-point metaheuristics are hybridized automatically.•The hybridization is achieved by exchangeing design choices among different metaheuristics (low-level hybridization) and sequencing metaheuristics (high-level hybridization).•The aircraft landing problem and the two-dimensional bin packing problem are used to evaluate the approach.•The results assure the effectiveness and reusability of the automated approach.
