Title
Exact methods for three-dimensional cutting and packing: A comparative study concerning single container problems
Abstract
•Most notable exact methods proposed in the literature have difficulties to optimally solve medium-sized instances.•Container dimensions and number of allowed rotations are high impact factors for the solution of the problem.•Linear relaxation of all the non-discretized formulations are ineffective.
