Abstract | ||

In this paper, we propose a new user selection method applied for multiuser MIMO OFDM system. The method takes a linear preprocessing to each user's allocated subcarriers to generate an equivalent channel with the same dimension as the single subcarrier channel. The complexity of user selection based on the equivalent channel can be significantly reduced compared to directly scheduling users based on the original frequency channel. After the preprocessing, traditional user selection methods in MU-MIMO systems can be used to select the optimal user group for scheduling. |
