•Today, 47 million people live with dementia worldwide. New tools for early diagnosis, are needed.•Serious games have a great potential as an alternative to neuropsychological tests.•Our approach is composed of seven games to perform a cognitive evaluation in a non-intrusive and ecological way.•A pilot study participating 74 seniors and 15 professionals confirm the usability and acceptability of Panoramix battery.•Results obtained pave the way for additional work to confirm the diagnostic validity according to clinical standards. |
