•A nonautonomous impulsive stochastic dynamical system with Lévy jumps is proposed.•Combined dynamic effects of impulsive perturbations and Lévy jumps are discussed.•Existence and global attraction of the unique τ - periodic solution are investigated.•Sufficient conditions for sochastically ultimate boundedness are investigated.•Threshold values in the mean for stochastic persistence and extinction are studied.
