Abstract | ||

A doubly-grounded transformer-less single-phase PV inverter with boost capability is proposed. The leakage current does not exist in the proposed topology. This PV inverter can operate at boost mode under shading condition. Only one switch operates at high frequency in each mode. In addition, the boost converter only operates at shading condition, so the efficiency of the system at normal condition is not affected. Operating principle of the proposed inverter is illustrated. Finally, simulation results verify the theoretical analysis. |
