Title
Towards a Three Layer Architecture for Dynamic Spectrum Access in Cognitive Radio Networks
Abstract
Cognitive Radio (CR) is considered as one of the most promising technologies for future wireless communications. To make CR systems practical, CR networks must be able to coexist; this may cause interference to other users. To deal with this problem, the idea of cooperation between users to sense and share spectrum without causing interference is introduced. For the cooperative resolution of problems, we generally use Multi Agent Systems (MAS). In this paper, we propose a multi-agent architecture for spectrum access in an opportunistic way. The architecture consists of three levels: physical, cognitive and behavioral where we propose an approach based on multi-criteria decision making and coalition formation.
