Abstract
•Multiple solutions exist on both surfaces.•Quadruple Solutions exist for opposing flow case.•In the first, third and fourth solutions, velocity profile has an inverse relationship with thermophoresis Nt and Hartmann number M.•The stable solution is the first solution which is physically possible.•Temperature profile has a direct relationship with Hartmann number in the first and fourth solutions.
