Taxi ride is still one of the most common and popular transportation methods, even if there are a lot of different options provided in a large city. In this paper, we utilize the taxi ride data in the city of Chicago, and analyze the factors that are influential in determining the fare of the taxi ride. We analyze the data and discover some interesting patterns in the taxi ride fares. We are also able to predict the most common method of payment by using regression and classification technique respectively.
