Abstract
•The first work on high-definition whole-brain DCE MRI that simultaneously achieves high temporal resolution of 1.5 s and high spatial resolution of 1.0 mm3.•Precise definition of patient-specific arterial input function and tissue output function for accurate quantification of microvascular functions.•Concurrent estimation of perfusion and microvascular permeability in brain cancer.•Model-based DCE reconstruction from incomplete measurements without apparent loss of contrast dynamics.•Comparison between the proposed high-definition DCE MRI and conventional routine (vendor-provided state-of-the-art) DCE MRI.
