Title
Cost benefit smart charging schedule for V2G applications
Abstract
The objective of this paperis to carry out an intelligent charging scenario for electric vehicles according to the vehicle-to-grid technology. A management algorithm is put in place to ensure optimal power control with respect to several constraints related to electricity price, battery capacity and state of charge. A14 nodes distribution network is considered for this study, where the proposed strategy can charge and discharge electric vehicles batteries according to the electricity price. Yet, electric vehicle owners can benefit from the smart charging process. In this paper, a charging station with a high number of gridable vehicles connected to a distribution node is implemented to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed optimization algorithm.
